The Glider Initiative is pleased to announce the Adopt a Suggie program as a new way to help out sugar glider rescues everywhere! Participating rescues have been screened and are dedicated to providing the best care and homes to unwanted sugar gliders.
By choosing to adopt a sugar glider rescue, you agree to help cover the costs of the sugar glider in the rescue facility. In return, you will receive an initial kit on your sugar glider rescue and updated information as often as it becomes available.
Initial adoption fee is $30.00 and includes an information packet about your rescue as well as a stuffed toy and informational booklet about sugar gliders. The gift is yours to keep. Adopt a Suggie encourages you to continue giving as much as you can as monthly gifts. Remember that this sugar glider is depending on your support. We are pleased that you are helping out a rescue, and the more you give, the more life you give to a sugar glider someone deemed unwanted.
All initial adoptions will be qualified to receive a donor appreciation prize. One prize will be drawn per quarter.
Note: This is similar to a program to sponsor children overseas to battle hunger. Adopt a Suggie is not giving out actual, physical sugar glider rescues.
Adopt a Suggie has currently helped 54 rescued gliders in severe conditions.
