The Glider Initiative was founded in 2007 by our founding members. Headquartered in Michigan, we are a registered nonprofit within the state of Michigan. TGI also has federal 501 (c) (3) tax exempt status.

The board dreamed of an organization that could ultimately help the sugar glider community once and for all. By addressing common issues today and getting them at the root, TGI is dedicated to educate owners, and other interested persons.

TGI will hold seminars, education classes, conferences, and other meetings to educate owners and public persons regarding health, feeding, medical, and other aspects of sugar glider ownership.
